Apixaban (2,5mg) for pulmonary embolism (PE)

Switched from Xarelto to Eliquis due to side effects such as tightness, tiredness, and itching. I've been using this new medication for too short a time to make a definitive review on it but i can tell you that it feels like there are a lot fewer side effects than Xarelto

Apixaban (2,5mg) for cardiac arrhythmia

Xarelto then Eliquis. Side effect: mild headache and feeling of deafness all day. Tinnitus and light-headedness. Also occasional tingling in arms and legs.. I think my spirit doesn't want me to take them and that's why my body's reacting.

Apixaban (5mg) for cardiac arrhythmia

Open heart op in 1996 because of cardiac arrhythmia. Positive: after using it for about 10 days I suddenly had - for the first time in 10 years - a regular heart beat again. Went well for 10 days. Then arrhythmia came back. Horrendous side effects : more difficulty walking, no more strength in my feet, ankles or knees. Lots of muscle pain! Acenocoumarol. Switched to Eliquis in May 2016. See abo...

Apixaban (5mg) for thrombosis

I have used Xarelto, but had awful side effects. Then a half year clexane syringes used. At the insistence of the GP now Eliquis. What I am opposed to is that there is no counter-medication at the moment you get a bleeding. The old generation of medicines does. Requested to switch back to Acenocoumarol, but the GP does not want this. would be too expensive. Ridiculous! This is how it goes in Be...

Apixaban (5mg) for atrial fibrillation

Bad experience. Slept badly and really unsettled since taking it, have frequent arrhythmia and a stressed feeling on top of that. I have the impression that it's affecting my memory. I also feel less healthy. I'm going to get in touch with my GP.

Apixaban (2,5mg) for pulmonary embolism (PE)

After several pulmonary embolisms I first had acenocoumarol then after speaking to the specialist moved over to Eliquis. I'm a back patient and have had several operations on my back. After one and a half day, the tiredness and muscle pain set in, and it was the muscle pain that caused me to go back to Acenocoumarol because it has pretty much no side effects. Then it was back to the thrombosis ...

Apixaban (5mg) for pulmonary embolism (PE)

I have been taking this medication for nearly a year now, before I took ascal. After a third lungembolism this was prescribed by the pulmonologist. After taking eliquis 5mg twice a day for 2-3 weeks I did notice.....a tingling sensation in legs, feet and arms.

Apixaban (5mg) for atrial fibrillation

Been using this medicine since the beginning of August because of an attack of cardiac fibrillation, since then I've felt pretty unwell, really forgetful and above all at night suffering with odd tingling and muscle spasms, does anyone else have experience with this?

Apixaban (5mg) for cardiac arrhythmia

I've used Eliquis for a year now and I've experienced absolutely no side effects. When I compare it to other blood thinners that you get for managing a thrombosis then this drug is totally user-friendly. From day 1 had no issues whatsoever.

Apixaban (5mg) for palpitations

After one year with palpitations (increased heart rate PVC/VES), I was prescribed Eliquis. I had earlier been told that even with these problems you can live to 100 without any medication. Now I might have to to take a blood thinner because of a failed ablation.? The doctor is being quite reticent about why I can't take another blood thinner like ascal. Also Eliquis is very pricey so you are ch...
