I have used Xarelto, but had awful side effects. Then a half year clexane syringes used. At the insistence of the GP now Eliquis. What I am opposed to is that there is no counter-medication at the moment you get a bleeding. The old generation of medicines does. Requested to switch back to Acenocoumarol, but the GP does not want this. would be too expensive. Ridiculous! This is how it goes in Belgium. An internist/hematologist is not involved in this decision.
