neck pain, as well as shoulder and arm pain. had some troubles for the first few days but they subsided after that, this is a good medication against extreme pain. Since i'm an alcoholic this medication in combination made me go on a weird trip and i saw indians coming out of my power outlets, it was kind of fun. :)

Lots of joint pain from Essure. Tramadol prescribed while waiting for operation. Paracetamol didn't work, Tramadol keeps the worst pain at bay so I can sit, lie and walk. Sort of. In general fairly happy.

Having a nephritis colic (or renal calculus), the emergency doctor prescribed this medication to combine with paracetamol. In my home, this remedy works pretty well but the side effects are really unpleasant. The nausea is recurring and the feeling of being "broken" is quite powerful. Take it carefully.

Very effective medication against pain, but side effects are unbearable. I could not stand for more than 2 minutes because I had the head turning. My surgeon prescribed it three times a day for 8 days, but I stopped after three days. I'll let you guess my condition. Then I started to have stomach aches (well I admit, I do not know if there is a link or not). And say it's opium. For the next p...

I've had pain in my coccyx for years. I've been using tramadol since 2014 and it works well for the pain. But I do get a burning feeling in my eyes, the doctor thinks it's not anything to do with the tramadol. He referred me to the ophthalmologist. I'm curious to see if eye problems are some of the side effects.

this drug is worse than the illness but whenever I say I want to stop all I hear is that I need to see the psychiatrist even though I don't even have one! Side effects: disturbed personality, often feeling list, sleeplessness waking 3 or 4 times a night, anxiety and panic, cold sweats and often feel like my life is over, with no future.

Got this after being diagnosed with bronchitis. I now take it for period pains because of my severe cramps. Small tablets and easy to swallow. It makes me really dizzy, but at least I'm free of pain! That's the most important thing.

After twisting my knee I managed to injure my meniscus. Severe pain and very unsteady. Tramadol did little apart from make me fuzzy and nauseous. I've now got diclofenac and it's working brilliantly and I can function again.

I use this when needed for a burning nerve pain in my bottom because of a hernia in my back. After reading some of the experiences on here I was a little wary of taking it but luckily I've had next to no side effects! Just a bit of grogginess the first few days. Works really well for the pain that I occasionally get so I'm quite happy.

Because I broke three vertebrae, the GP prescribed me 50 mg Tramadol. The first day I took three tablets and the following morning just one. Then I had severe side effects/allergic reactions. In one 24-hour period nauseous and vomiting, cold sweats, talking with a thick tongue, I was really worried for myself. The "emergency" doctor gave me something intravenously. It took three days before the...

I’ve been using tramadol for chronic pain as a result of Ehlers danlos syndrome (congenital collagen deformity) for several years. I’m very satisfied with this medicine, it takes the sharp edge off the pain, so I can get through the day.

Initially prescribed 500 because of the rheumatism but when that stopped working went up to 1000. Pain disappeared immediately but only worked for me for about 3/4 of an hour and you're only allowed 1 every 24 hours. Not one single problem with side effects. Even though this is less effective than the morphine, I'd still rather take it as otherwise I spend all day crouched over the toilet.

I use a maximum of 3 a day and every 3 months I quit tramadol for 1 month after my injection of depomedrol. I have no withdrawal symptoms. This I do because experience has learned it's more effective this way and there is no need to use more. No real side effects. When I take the first capsule nothing happens, it starts working by taking the second capsule, which I take after an hour. The pain ...

This made me incredibly sick and stressed, and didn't help with the pain. I was getting in trouble with the staff at the hospital because I was eating so little and lost so much weight. But this medicine left me without any appetite. I had to force myself to eat otherwise I would never have got better. It was terrible. I definitely do not want this rubbish again.

Tramadol, for me, did not work as a pain killer. It made me so miserable that I stopped taking it after just a few days. Sweating a lot, nauseous and the feeling that I was sinking

I have bruised ribs, bottom left and a lot of pain. Took a capsule in the afternoon and I turned unnaturally happy. The prescription said to take 1 or 2 capsules, 4 times a day. So before going to bed I took 2 more. I felt a bit funny in my head after a while. Went to sleep and woke up very dizzy, nauseous, with tingling feet and heavy sweating. I felt like fainting which gave quite a scare. Af...

Took this medicine for severe back pain radiating down into my legs, because of a hernia. For me it didn't help a great deal. It increased my pain threshold somewhat which meant I was able to function. I took 3 x 100 mg a day for between one month and 4. After the operation, happy to come off it.

I take tramadol for stomach pain. Absolutely no side-effects. Works the same as one ibuprofen, but I get this FOC on prescription from the gastroenterologist.

After having a bad back hernia for 4 months, I was prescribed tramadol in combination with paracetamol. It takes away the worst of the pain. But you feel as sluggish as a sloth. 2 months later I had a hernia operation. After a week I was supposed to stop taking tramadol and everything else. So that's what I did, as prescribed by the doctor, specialist, physiotherapist and the GP. But you must N...

when I started, these tablets really helped, but the longer you use them, the more often you need to take one, and the less effective they are.

Because of severe pain in my neck and lower back vertebrae, I can hardly exercise any more. Even walking upright is becoming more and more difficult. Took diclofenac for it at first but I suffered an (extreme) allergic reaction to it. The GP prescribed tramadol after that. I take one capsule if I go cycling, playing golf, etc. But it only works for me for about 2.5-3 hours at which point I am u...

Probably hypersensitive to this medication. Lots of problems with side-effects. I have used this medicine for a long time (one to 4 capsules per day, if needed) before I realised that I was hypersensitive and I had to stop taking this medicine and ask for another one. In addition I was taking metoclopramide for the nausea, but only when it was unbearable.

After my one night stay in hospital I was sent home with tramadol because they couldn't find anything where I was feeling the pain. I was only gynaecologically investigated but my whole stomach was (is) in hellish pain but they didn't do any more investigation and was sent home with the advice to go to my GP. With tramadol, but up to now still no improvement in the pain. The side-effects are al...

After a ski accident all of the ligaments in my collarbone and shoulder had torn. Grade three. Localised injections with Lidocaine. Afterwards switched to tramadol. Very effective. I think I might have taken too much of it. Off the chart with drowsiness but happy that it took the pain away. I took it five years ago for a hernia in my neck. After a few days the side-effects were a lot less and i...

I was given tramadol when I had my first renal pelvic infection. It made me really drowsy. I was so itchy I drew blood from all the scratching and I ended up looking like a junkie... Later on it turned out I was allergic to it so I switched to oxycodon.

i've been taking this for a few days, no problems, just a dry throat. headache and migraine haven't changed. I'd rather take an ibuprofen, it doesn't help either but at least you don't get a dry throat.
