After one year with palpitations (increased heart rate PVC/VES), I was prescribed Eliquis. I had earlier been told that even with these problems you can live to 100 without any medication. Now I might have to to take a blood thinner because of a failed ablation.? The doctor is being quite reticent about why I can't take another blood thinner like ascal. Also Eliquis is very pricey so you are charged €385 for the privilege of taking the risk with all of the side-effects. Isn't this just about the money?
