Topiramate (100mg) for bipolar disorder
I've been struggling for years with my bipolar disorder. Not one single mood stabiliser seems to have worked. Not even lithium. On Seroquel I gained about 30 kg. This was number 7. And finally. Happy with the topamax, only a few attacks now. Only side effect is drastic weight loss. Are there other people who have had diarrhoea every day since starting topamax....

Topiramate (100mg) for epilepsy
Since I've been taking this medicine, I am less affected by light which means I have less chance of auras developing, which lead to attacks. But I have daily muscle cramps and I think that that's one of the side effects (according to the GP), on top of this I also take other medicines, carbamazepine and clobazam.

Topiramate (50mg) for headache
since I've been taking Topamax for my headaches, which really helps, a lot fewer headaches. But the problem is all the kidney stones I've got, for two months now. And that's why I stopped taking topamax and I'm now waiting to see if the kidney stones are going to stay away and hope that the headaches don't come back.

Topiramate (50mg) for migraine
3 to 4 migraines a month, always lasting three days, since I've been taking Topamax I've only had one migraine, really happy with it, but at the moment I'm struggling with a couple of ongoing stomach infections so I'd like to know if this has something to do with Topamax or not… according to my doctor it can't… does anyone have any experience of this??
