Diclofenac (75mg) for hernia

Took a tablet because of pain in my neck. (11 years ago I had an intervertebral disc removed.) Overnight my stomach turned itself completely inside out. Nauseous, bloated feeling, and rising acid reflux. I'm never taking this again ever.

Diclofenac (25mg) for arthrosis

Because I had to take a gastric protector with this as well, I switched. I had to pay for the stomach tablets (omeprazole) myself. That's why the GP prescribed artrotec.

Diclofenac (50mg) for gout

As soon as I notice gout coming on, I take 2 diclofenacs and another after about 6 hours. They really help to get over the worst of the pain and the symptoms disappear after around about another day. I also take Allopurinol 300 mg but I'm not so happy with this, they actually seem to trigger the gout. My rheumatologist doesn't really seem to know much about it. Sometimes I get the feeling that ...

Diclofenac (50mg) for tendinitis shoulder

My doctor prescribed this medicine for inflammation of a tendon in my shoulder. It began to work after 4 days. I did experience side effects such as bowel cramping, diarrhoea and fatigue. After 2 weeks I'm still taking the tablets, because every time I try to quit the inflammation returns.

Diclofenac (25mg) for fibromyalgia (FM or FMS)

I've been taking this drug for pain from fibromyalgia and mild arthrosis for years. If I stop taking the Diclofenac it doesn't take long for me to stiffen up and for the pain to start. I haven't noticed any side effects, at the moment I am taking 2 x 25 mg a day. I don't take any gastric protectors with it any more because I suspect that years of using them are what caused my osteopenia. (early...

Diclofenac (12,5mg) for Bursitis

GP didn't give me any gastric protectors with this so my stomach wall was badly damaged. After a while of being really nauseous I ended up in hospital 3 times because I couldn't keep any other medicines downs. My stomach wall has been damaged by the diclofenac. Then my head started throbbing. After this misery I haven't been able to take any other medicine at all and had to have gastric protect...

Diclofenac (150) for bacterial infection

Disaster drug, it's shameful that it's even sold/prescribed. My side effects are extreme and as far as I'm concerned it's harmful to a number of organs. i really think I could die from this. Stopped after two days. Now (5 days later), I still have stomach and bowel pains, pain peeing. This drug would appear to have a poor reputation amongst people who work in the care sector. I spoke to a few p...

Diclofenac (50mg) for otitis media (ear infection)

Not recommended. The disadvantage, the stomach pain, is terrible. I haven't been able to eat for 2 days because of it. I'd rather have the pain of the infection

Diclofenac (75mg) for arthritis

The low dose is barely effective, I need 2 150 mg tablets and 2 paracetamol before I can get to sleep at night. I don't use any gastric protection because they all make me queasy.

Diclofenac (50mg) for arthrosis

Stopped taking this because or really bad side effects. Nausea, dizziness, palpitations, sweating, cold/warm, trembling, temporary red rash all over my body, so bad that I had to go and sit down for an hour to get over it. Happened suddenly overnight. A few weeks later I tried it again and I reacted the same way (not long after taking the pill).

Diclofenac (75mg) for pain (general)

No side-effects with this medicine. I don't take omeprazole with it. They always add it on because of my long-term use. I don't see the point of it. I do have to take paracetamol often as well because the diclofenac doesn't provide enough pain relief.

Diclofenac (50mg) for pain (general)

My experience is: it takes the pain away, works quickly. But loads and loads of stomach and bowel problems. Took it for three days (with a gastric protector) and from day one suffered with vomiting and nausea, not forgetting the stomach cramps. I was really sick from it! (Not recommended if you've got a weak stomach or bowels.)

Diclofenac (75mg) for pain (general)

I took this medicine on the advice of the radiotherapist because I was suffering with radiation injuries. The periosteum on my ribs is excessively sensitive which means I can't wear any tight clothes or even a bra. Using an anti-inflammatory was supposed to reduce the pain. Unfortunately loads of side-effects (stomach and bowel problems) and no change to the pain. It even seemed to have the opp...

Diclofenac (50mg) for pain (general)

The most extreme kind of side effect: bleeding after a stomach ulcer that was located on an artery. I lost 4 l of blood and was in hospital for 3 days and operated on. I was bed-bound for 6 weeks and it was only after 5 months that my blood levels were on the up and I was starting to feel ok. And I am only 33 despite the fact that it says in the patient information leaflet that stomach ulcers a...
