As soon as I notice gout coming on, I take 2 diclofenacs and another after about 6 hours. They really help to get over the worst of the pain and the symptoms disappear after around about another day. I also take Allopurinol 300 mg but I'm not so happy with this, they actually seem to trigger the gout. My rheumatologist doesn't really seem to know much about it. Sometimes I get the feeling that I'm walking on broken glass, the pain is so bad. And then the diclos don't help so much. So it looks like I'm going to have to carry on suffering with this disease.
