Tastes very bad, probably comes from the aspartame, which is also trash. But the first times i took it, it helped after about two hours, then slowly it went away. This is better than the whole day though, but the last two times i took it, it did nothing!

My 17 year old daughter suffers acute migraine attacks 3 times a year so takes these pills. This evening she was in so much pain she was crying but then once she took the tablet you could see the attack retreating then half an hour later she said she started feeling odd, warm, dizzy and laughing a lot. And then the migraine was gone! She did seem a bit stoned and was laughing a lot but it helps...

My monthly migraines last around 2 days/evenings. Rizatriptan (and before that Maxalt) work well and I wake up headache-free. It narrows the blood vessels which is necessary for me during the day time. My side effects: lightheaded, dizzy, nasty taste in my mouth. It does take about an hour before it kicks in. I've been really lucky this medicine. I used to have injections. This is really small orodispersible tablet. If I am able to have a bit of peace and quiet after I've taken it I can function (almost) normally again. Something that was previously unthinkable.
