Doxazosin (4mg) for chronic kidney disease
I was taking doxazosin in combination with metoprolol succinate retard. The complaints I had, from the metoprolol succinate, got worse and worse. Driving was irresponsible, I couldn't really walk anymore: it was like I was drunk. I couldn't even do the housework. A heavy head during the day and weird dreams overnight. My blood pressure lowered but the side-effects were worse than the illness. I...

Doxazosin (8mg) for high blood pressure
After half a year BP is down to the minimum. It doesn't feel good to me, stomach pains, incontinence, I can't hold pee in, pain in my chest between my shoulder blades. Still taking it, can't really do anything about it, so another consultation with the internist. Not much left when it comes to other medication.
