Doxazosin (4mg) for chronic kidney disease

I was taking doxazosin in combination with metoprolol succinate retard. The complaints I had, from the metoprolol succinate, got worse and worse. Driving was irresponsible, I couldn't really walk anymore: it was like I was drunk. I couldn't even do the housework. A heavy head during the day and weird dreams overnight. My blood pressure lowered but the side-effects were worse than the illness. I...

Pantoprazole

Pantoprazole (40mg) for chronic kidney disease

I read on 13th January 2016 in the NRC that the proton pump inhibitors group has a 20 to 50% higher chance of developing chronic kidney disease. It is known that this renal damage doesn't occur with older heartburn preventatives, the so-called H2 antagonists.
