I was taking doxazosin in combination with metoprolol succinate retard. The complaints I had, from the metoprolol succinate, got worse and worse. Driving was irresponsible, I couldn't really walk anymore: it was like I was drunk. I couldn't even do the housework. A heavy head during the day and weird dreams overnight. My blood pressure lowered but the side-effects were worse than the illness. I stopped taking it and I've got my life back!
