amitriptyline hydrochloride (275mg) for depression

By taking this TCA for the first time in my life I have been able to experience what it is like not to be depressed. When my blood levels are good and I take lithium as well I am a bit happier and feel lighter. Unfortunately my blood levels fluctuate regularly and I need to keep taking higher and higher doses. I'm now on 275 mg. Can't and not allowed to drive a car and I can't do my old job in ...

amitriptyline hydrochloride (25mg) for fibromyalgia (FM or FMS)

20 years ago, I started taking this medicine because I couldn't do anything any more, couldn't walk, couldn't sit, literally nothing. I had a really good experience with this, started on 25 mg per day and I'm now on 75 mg per day. Sometimes I have days where 25 mg is enough. I can function normally and carry on with my daily life.

amitriptyline hydrochloride (25mg) for neuralgia

Good experience with medication. I've been taking this for 2 weeks now and hardly any side effects! I was really worried about this medicine but now I'm so happy that I've taken this step. I am sleeping better and every night I am now having lovely dreams, no nightmares for me. The chronic pain on my right hand side (nerve pain/fibromyalgia) is starting to reduce and I'm hopeful for the future.

amitriptyline hydrochloride (75 mg) for polyneuropathy

I had a large tumour removed from my intestines and had chemotherapy (capox) after surgery. The chemo consisted of capecitabine tablets and an oxiplatin drip. Chemo is always bad and I finished all 8 treatments, so now my nerves in hands and feet are damaged. The amitriptylines only side effects are weight gain and trouble getting up in the morning (at any time).

amitriptyline hydrochloride (25mg) for abdominal pain

I take this for a burning feeling in my intestines, groin and chronic sleep problems. The first week I noticed lots of side effects but the all disappeared. There was some weight gain though. Feeling of tiredness better, but feelings are a bit dampened. Difficulty peeing, biggest advantage is better sleep though. Take it in combination with lendormin.

amitriptyline hydrochloride (25mg) for hernia

I was given this by the pain clinic after an acute hernia. Helps really well, no more pain, but I have lost feeling in my left leg but that's nothing to do with this medicine.
