My psychiatrist/therapist prescribed Seroxat 20mg for anxiety and depression. Been taking it for 2 years. Once tried to quit, got to 5mgs and started feeling the anxiety again. Came back to 20mgs/a day. It works perfectly for anxiety, not so good for depression. Honestly, I'm afraid of going off them, because I feel like the anxiety will come back. Also don't want to take them forever because o...

I ended up taking this for 2 years after my GP misdiagnosed undocumented side effects from another drug (tetrazepam) as depression. The tetrazepam was for neck pains and caused people to pass out, although this was not a documented side effect at the time. When this happened to me, my GP assumed depression and prescribed Seroxat.

Absolutely awful withdrawal problems. Terrible anxiety, thought distortions, suicidal thoughts. Just google how many people can't stop this awful stuff. Don't go near it, should never have been released. Never helped anything either.

I function brilliantly on 1 x 20 mg a day. Stopped taking it once. Just a few weeks afterwards I noticed a decline in my well-being which gradually got worse so I started back on it. Btw: paroxetine is all supposed ...

Since I was about 11 I've been taking medication for psychological problems, what the medicine was called I can't remember. It came from Switzerland in a bottle with a glass dropper and was really expensive. It was prescribed for me by a doctor at the teaching hospital in Leiden.
