Too often runs out of propellant or product with many actuations still showing on counter. Also have had a case that refused to allow any gas to escape, therefore useless. Sent back to Chiesi UK, but their response is weak and defensive.
Currently using a ventolin case which does work well. Was told it might not give correct dose, but better that than no dose. Don't think Chiesi care that much.

I have been on this for 4 weeks now once in a morning and once at night. It has changed my life. I feel like a person without asthma I feel 100% cured. I sleep soundly and night, used to always start wheezing when I lay down but not any more. I can now exercise without any wheezing afterwards and I can train much harder. It may not suit everyone but it has been amazing for me. It is certainly w...

I have been given the neither,I have told the doctor I can't use it. It needs to be sucked hard, and when I have a bad day with asthma I haven't got the strength. Also the powder is agitating the cough, and I can feel it crunching between my teeth.like others have mentioned, you can't tell if its worked either, counter doesn't work, its useless. It was better in an aerosol type ,no dust/powder ,an...

Thanks for this comment, I was beginning to think, am I only one with problems with this inhaler. Too often I suck and nothing goes in-which causes confusion, as I don't want to double dose. And the particles and grains used in the formula are to big. I am thinking of changing this inhaler for somethng else that is more efficient and regular.

Fostair works well when it works BUT the counter is useless! my current one has just run out with thee counter still reading 64 doses left. This happens with about half of the inhalers I use, It's easy to prove, when you inhale and are still struggling for breath open a new one and see the difference, instant relief, I believe this is either a design problem or a storage problem. Fostair is sup...

After trying a myriad of inhalers and tablets one the pst 40 years, my own other recommended Fostair. I spoke to my doctor about it and was promptly issued with it. As someone who has hay fever, dust and animal allergies, and an active exercise induced asthma I have been very used to getting to the end of my course of Beclomethasone preventative inhalers and having to time ordering the next pre...

Only been using this for four days for moderate and occasionally sever asthma, but during those four days I have not required my Ventolin or any other medicine (previously I was on Clenil and 1 x Montelucast at night. I take 2 puffs in the morning and 2 in the evening before going to bed. I have allergic swell as exercise induced asthma, and so far I am extremely impressed with the efficacy of ...

Have been using this Inhaler for 3 months for chronic Asthma, Bronchiectasis and ABPA. Probably the most inefficient giving system I have ever encountered. When unwell its difficult to inhale this deeply into lungs. A lot ends up in your mouth and particles feel large. I don't think very much is ingested into my lungs at all and I wonder if trials used healthy individuals with excellent peak fl...

I have had mild asthma for over 30 years(I'm 64) and have always used brown and blue inhalers. Brown preventers never really worked so I used 3 to 4 puffs of the reliever a day.
Three months ago my new GP prescribed Fostair and from the first puff I have had no wheeziness at all, not even a trace of it. GP prescribed 4 puffs a day which I cut down to 2 after a month then to just one. Occasiona...

Foster inhaler. Since I was switched from Sererite to Foster my coughing, okay let's say cough attacks have increased dramatically. I didn't initially think that it was anything to do with this medicine but now I've switched back to seretide 50/500 and my cough has got a lot better. So now I just need to find something for breathlessness...

After Seretide, the lung specialist moved me on to Foster. While I find the inhaler awkward because there's no counter on it, the medicine itself is good: since I've been using it I haven't had any asthma attacks. What is irritating though is the idea that (and it's been listed as a possible side effect) I'm really hoarse and that I've got a frog in my throat. But, fair enough, better than asthma.

Foster is definitely different to Seretide. Foster is better because it gets further into your lungs. I have much more faith in it than Seretide. Plus, Seretide can genuinely cause lung infections.

After contracting pneumonia several times in a row my specialist prescribed Foster. It worked. No pneumonia any more! I am happy with this result, however the side effects are many: heavy muscles cramps, pressure on my head after every inhalation, loss of taste, depression symptoms. Not feeling up to doing anything. Now I use Forstair 1 to 2 times a week as maintenance and when I feel a cold co...

Once you have used about three quarters, Foster ampoule is no longer effective. You might as well throw away the last quarter. If I have to use part of the last quarter I just get short of breath.

Had bad experiences with another asthma inhaler until I had a lung infection and figured it was time to try a new medicine (marketed as Foster or Fostex) and to start off with it seemed like my asthma was under control. The side effects I've had over a number of years are making me wonder if I shouldn't stop taking this one and start with something else. The side effects are: asthma symptoms wo...

Foster Nexthaler is more effective than the other inhalers I have had. The side effects are so bad though that I'd rather not use it. I use it now for 2 single inhalations per day. Might increase these to 4 double inhalations per day.

Asthma, bronchial used Foster for 2 years, 2x2 puffs a day. Last month I needed to take it 3 times a day. Last week I forgot to take it one day and I felt really well. I haven't used it for 5 days now. Overnight increased rate of breathing but nothing I can't manage. So is this even necessary?? Despite the fact that it definitely has helped me, I am seriously wondering if my continued use is ac...

I was born with asthma so I've had pretty much all of the medicines there are. I was on two puffs of Oxis 3x p/d, two puffs of Alvesco 4× p/d and two puffs of Spiriva 1x p/d. To reduce the number of puffs p/d we chose to replace the Oxis and Alvesco with Foster. I still have to have two puffs 4x p/d of it. On top of that also two puffs of Spiriva 1× p/d. Also Ventolin often before I exercise. I...

I developed asthma after a lung infection in early 2015. I now use a Foster inhaler, two puffs twice a day. It has a middling effect. I was never a great sleeper, but it's a real problem for me now. My lung capacity is fantastic because I sing a lot. This is getting gradually harder though because I've got a lot hoarser and when I sing for a long time I get a cramped feeling in my lungs.
