beclometasone dipropionate, formoterol fumarate dihydrate (100/6) for asthma
I have had mild asthma for over 30 years(I'm 64) and have always used brown and blue inhalers. Brown preventers never really worked so I used 3 to 4 puffs of the reliever a day.
Three months ago my new GP prescribed Fostair and from the first puff I have had no wheeziness at all, not even a trace of it. GP prescribed 4 puffs a day which I cut down to 2 after a month then to just one. Occasionally I even forget to take just the one puff with no return to wheeziness. I am now thinking of reducing to one puff every other day. There have been no side effects and to me, this has been a 100% success.
