Dabigatran (150mg) for stroke

In 2005 I sufferd from a TIA and in the years after I had heartrythm irregularities, it turned out my INR was to low.My cardiologist and neurologist prescribed me Solartol in combination with Acenocoumarl. Dabigatran (150mg) for atrial fibrillation

Nausea, over-tiredness, dizziness, irritable, breathless, poor sleep. Got to go back to the neurologist on 1 June, I'm going to tell him that I'm stopping with this, I'd rather be dead because this is no life.

Dabigatran (110mg) for cardiac arrhythmia

asked to take this after a heart ablation. a year ago I was prescribed Eliquis and suffered lots of side effects incl. reduced kidney function and muscle problems. I felt like a proper guinea pig for the pharmaceutical industry with pradaxa. I can't stop because of an ablation in a few weeks.

Dabigatran (150mg) for heart attack

Two years ago my husband had a heart attack and in January a follow-up showed that he had a blood clot in his heart and he was prescribed pradaxa for it. According to the specialist it is an expensive medicine but more user-friendly than that offered at the thrombosis centre which isn't really necessary, the result was the the blood clot has disappeared. But the quality of life disappeared alon...

Dabigatran (150mg) for cardiac arrhythmia

Loads of side effects, above all fitness and tiredness issues, mentally less happy and active, sight worse, noise in my ears. New finding: thin stools and I'm sure that this is because of the casing of the capsule. I have been able to find visible pieces of it in my stools, sunshine yellow is also something that can cause problems. Even considerable hair growth of my existing hair. I'm going to...

Dabigatran (110mg) for pulmonary embolism (PE)

I have got active ulcerative colitis. And a double pulmonary embolism with acenocoumarol my INR was really irregular so the doctor prescribed me pradaxa. Unfortunately after only two capsules my bowels were really unsettled and started to inflame again, not to mention that I then got dizzy and my heart rate went up to 140. So I went to the GP on Saturday evening and had to stop taking them. And...

Dabigatran (150mg) for cardiac arrhythmia

I got this in March 2015 after atrial fibrillation, it's supposed to be good because there's nothing you can do about coagulation etc.. but I actually do occasionally have problems with it because you hear strange things about brain haemorrhages and gastric bleeding, and people have died from these things.

Dabigatran (110mg) for cardiac arrhythmia

because of an ablation for cardiac arrhythmia, which was really successful, had to take anticoagulants. To start off with it was marcoumar and I had to monitor my INR myself. The side-effect was a nosebleed that took me to the hospital. In consultation the cardiologist started using Pradaxa. Also had loads of nosebleeds with Pradaxa and went back to the hospital + the listed side-effects. Along...

Dabigatran (110mg) for cardiac arrhythmia

Using this medication gives me a kind of hallucination, moving shadows and other forms. I feel really tired during the day, and I have also got insomnia. I reduced my dosage and the symptoms also reduced. No more hallucinations but I still see shadows. And another thing got less serious after I started taking tablets earlier in the day. A lot of problems with my oesophagus.
