Two years ago my husband had a heart attack and in January a follow-up showed that he had a blood clot in his heart and he was prescribed pradaxa for it. According to the specialist it is an expensive medicine but more user-friendly than that offered at the thrombosis centre which isn't really necessary, the result was the the blood clot has disappeared. But the quality of life disappeared along with it, terrible pain in the arms and legs, lifeless, no interest in anything any more and you can't help but think that it's something to do with the pradaxa because before it he was really active despite his limitations. Going back to see the specialist. Hopefully get some better medicine.
