I tried coming off fluanxol under control of my GP and it was total hell I can sympathise with drug addicts coming off drugs. I didn’t manage to come off it - I tried twice. Must be around 30 years I have been on it. I got diabetes and my pharmacist said everyone who takes it does. Of course the manufacturers Lundbeck deny this.

I'm taking this drug for 6 years. This cannot possibly be a "medicine". The side effects you experience by taking this injection are far more and worse than by not taking it at all.
Even in small dosis: lack of concentration, depersonalization, higher need of sleep than usual. If you are a creative person, you won´t be able to be so any more. Even driving a car will be a difficulty.

I've been taking Flunxol 0.5 mg for almost a year now. Because of the side effects (feel dulled and weight gain) and because things are going well for me, I want to stop. Has anyone else here got experience with it?
