Tamoxifen (40mg) for breast cancer
I like tamoxfen, it's a good middle ground. The side effects were easily manageable. It made me a more tame person and made me less spontaneous as well.

Somewhat stiff wrists (but I did suffer with that when the menopause started), not one single problem with this medicine.

Started on tamoxifen in November 2012. At the beginning I had loads of hot flushes which lasted for about 6 months before it got a bit better. But I started putting on weight really quickly. After 1 year I tried to switch over to anastrozol. But that gave me lots of grief with stiff muscles and joints. Tried exemestane, problems stayed. Then it was back on to tamoxifen 20 mg. Now it's 5 years o...
