I've used efexor 300 mg for many years for depression and anxiety. The first few weeks I was very often nauseous, after that period it improved. Now after all those years I get the impression that its not so effective any more. My depression and anxiety is less heavy and intens, but they do recur. Side effects: heavy sweating, nausea.

I've been taking this for a number of years. It does help me but I could do without the side-effects. High blood pressure, excessive sweating, thirst, always warm and difficulty sleeping. I don't know if these will ever stop. But I can't stop taking it.

I have switched from Efexor to an own-label venlafaxine. Both in capsule form. I haven't noticed any difference. To start with I took the own-label venlafaxine in tablet form, but it made me nauseous.
