Since my heart attack in I have had to take this anticoagulant. The only thing I've noticed about is that I bruise a lot more easily. But I guess that shows it's working well.

I had a stent put in and afterwards I had to take this medicine for a year. All of my muscles were painful and caused me to sleep poorly. Are there better medicines out there, like Plavix. Would be good to know.

After stent insertion. First two interventions ( 2 x 3 stents) had to take Brilique. Lots of side effects. Difficulty breathing and bruising. For the third intervention (8 months later) I switched to 75 mg Clopidogrel (at my request). Shortness of of breath disappeared for the most part and no more bruising since then. 7th stent inserted and I now feel a lot better.

After a classic TIA the doctor at A&E gave me Clopidogrel 75 mg 1x day in place of Carbasalaatcalcium 100 mg cardio. Side effects: one occurrence of a hand-sized haematoma and one very large haematoma on my thigh which led to a muscle tear. Frequent small haematomas on my skin when I get a knock.

I suffered a stroke during a back operation in June 2014. Afterwards I had to start taking Persantin. In November 2015 I asked if there was another medicine available instead of Persantin because I had to take one twice a day, followed by gastric proctectors. It was called Dipyridimol and I didn't want to take it any more because of the side effects. Now I take Clopidogrel once a day with 1 Pan...

Because I've had an operation on my carotid artery, I have to take clopidogrel 75A for the rest of my life. I've got diarrhoea, coughing fits and I'm short of breath when I walk or cycle. The itching wasn't fun either. After I had the branded Teva, I got an unbranded version and the problems got worse. My GP has now prescribed me Plavix, it's more expensive and the most popular at my insurers. ...

After I had a stent fitted, the cardiologist told me that I need to take this for a whole year! I've experienced the following side effects. Headache, muscle cramps and pain in my joints, poor vision, obstipation and stomach pain. Anyone else had the same experiences...and how were they eventually sorted?
