This is the first time I've taken oxazepam for panic attacks and anxiety. Unfortunately it seems to take an hour to work and even though I told the doctor my panic attacks can last up to 90 minutes she seems to have forgotten how long it takes for the tablets to work. Good help. Take when needed unfortunately sometimes more than prescribed. It was the same last year but I decided to try Oxazepam again. Now switched to Seroquel and it works better for me, bit more level headed. I can also take Oxazepam for potential side effects of sertraline but because of the Seroquel I won't be doing that.

Oxazepam works pretty quickly which means I can take it when I feel a panic attack coming on and it stops it. I prefer that to using it as a preventative and feeling dazed all day.
