After being diagnosed with ADD started on Ritalin. It certainly helps in the morning with getting myself together and I think I'm less quick to anger with my concentration problems, although I don't actually think my concentration has improved at all. 5 or 6 other problems that go alongside ADD are not treated by Ritalin. So I have also got a high heart rate (120/130 at rest). Physically a real...

After being diagnosed with ADD (at 17), started taking straterra. Worked really well for the first two or three years, then started doubting its effects. Methylphenidate and dexamphetamine don't appear to be effective. Particularly with methylphenidate (Ritalin) I had really bad rebound. And on dexamphetamine, but not as drastically. I also use Sertraline for anxiety and depression, but it feels as if this is now less effective. My concentration did improve, but ...
