After all the horror stories on this site, I started worrying. I took the pill within 12 hours of unprotected sex (1 day before ovulation). I was worried about the efficacy of the pill but my period started on time. You know that there are going to be side effects, but that's why this is an emergency solution.

Took the norlevo morning after pill after having sex and the condom had come off. To be on the safe side I took the morning after pill. The day after I took it, my period started. A few days later I got really emotional and got a really bad craving for chocolate which I've still got (5 days later). Also feeling like I want to go to bed early. It's never this bad with my normal periods so there'...

levonorgestrel (1,5mg) for mood swings
within a few hours rumbling in my stomach and that same night and the following day had a really severe emotional load. Crying and sobbing over nothing, binge eating, craving chocolate which I would only normally do when I'm menstruating.
