I had a heart attack in 2014. I had an angioplasty and 2 stents. Then I was prescribed statins despite having normal cholesterol. I take the tablet in the evening together with 100 mg q10. Occasional muscle pain in my chest and around my shoulders. The drug is effective because my cholesterol has drastically reduced, especially ldl. I've suffered with some degree of tinnitus for years, but it's bearable. But now, after about 5 weeks of taking this medicine, the noise has grown to an unacceptable level. I stopped taking it straight away and hope that the noise level reduces somewhat. I'm 80 years old and I'd like to make it to 85 so life should be liveable. At the moment, every day is just too much for me.
