Since the start of the year, the pharmacist, in her wisdom, has been replacing my Pfizer medicine, which was prescribed by the cardiologist, with that of Teva. Since she has done so, I have experienced increasingly worsening muscle pain in places I haven't had it before. NB the reason for this medicine switch was a mistake by the pharmacist which meant a surplus in stock. In the meantime it was advised that other brands of medicines should be provided. I was only made aware of this on a recent visit to my GP. In the surgery, there was a poster asking "have you experienced any side effects" which made me think about my muscle pains. Something else to speak to the pharmacist about.
