I was switched from Escitalopram to Fluoxetine because the Escitalopram had had no effect after 2 months... 2 months later on Fluoxetine for and I'd almost given up hope because I still hadn't noticed any kind of improvement. Now finally - after 8 weeks - I've noticed a small difference. The dose has been increased to 40 mg in the hope that it will have a better effect for me. It's really annoying that it's taken so long before the right medicine was found that works for me.. in the meantime, I've been through an extra half-year of misery and I still need to wait to see if this medicine will work better for me.
