I got type 2 diabetes in 2001. In 2010 I had to start injecting insulin. Despite having a high dose it was really difficult to get my blood sugar levels under control. In January 2016 I stopped taking Crestor due to recent scientific developments concerning cholesterol and the scandal surrounding the Dutch Heart Foundation, and started buying butter. My blood sugar levels have fallen dramatically I have just been advised that I no longer need to inject myself so often. I've heard that some cardiologists have been offering their patients poor excuses and still prescribing them statins.
