After I had a pedicure I was advised to get in touch with my GP to start on a 3-month course of Itraconazol. I've suffered with nail infections on my toes for around 15 years, usually about 2 a year. I need to take this course for 1 more week then I can stop. The results are easy to see. The nail is now about 1/3 better. Given that the course keeps on working for a while after the last pill has been taken, I am confident that after 15 years I will once again be able to go varnish-free in my flip-flops.
