Had loads of problems with the existing statins. At the express request of the cardiologist I am now trying Repatha. LDL down from 8.2 to 0.9. Works perfectly and so the one injection every two weeks is definitely paying for itself.

Since then, the pump function of my heart has fallen to just 17% and the dose has been increased to 200 mg a day. This gave me very low blood pressure and I was really tired and short. I have gained 15 kg since I started thin medicine and suffer with shortness of breath, poor sleep and feeling of fullness, heavy legs (water retention). Now even 3 weeks after stopping taking this medicine, it still hasn't had the desired effect: blood pressure and heart rate high; although I do feel less full.
