I have been taking thyrax duotab tablets 0.150mg since 1995. About 3 months ago I was given Levothyroxine 150mcg, after questioning the pharmacist about the change, i was told they were the same, only the company had been taken over. but after a couple of weeks my body told me they were not the same because I started to feel very shaky my heart was beating very fast, tired, pain in my joints, after visiting the doctor, I was given a blood test and told to stop taking them and given a new dosage of 125mcg. I have since had another blood test and waiting for the results, but i find this whole situation absolutely ridiculous that they can just tell us its the same medicine when its clearly not. They are taking a gamble with our health.
