I got Ropinirol from the GP and now after about 1 year I need to go up from 0.50 mg to 2 mg a day but I am just sleeping so much it's no longer fun. I fall asleep in the evening easily - if I take my tablet at 7.30pm, I'm asleep by 9.30pm, and I meanly fast asleep. Neurologist advised taking 2 tablets every evening. But I stopped this pretty quickly because I was retaining so much fluid and it made me fall asleep. So now I only take it when I notice that my legs are becoming restless. Sometimes one is enough, sometimes I need to take more. Depends on how bad the attack. is. Sometimes it affects my whole body.
