This medicine is aggressive with loads of side-effects, some of which are even really serious. After 2 1/2 months I started thinking about stopping this medicine and at the next consultation with the rheumatologist compared the problems with the side effects and we started looking for an alternative. I also wanted to ask for a complete blood work up just to make sure that this drug doesn't contraindicate the other medications I'm taking, possibly even have the opposite effect. By this I mean serious osteoporosis and my tendency to develop kidney stones for which I've been treated many times. I know about the progressive increasing problems with my joints but I still definitely want to look for an alternative to this medication.
