The leaflet I got from the pharmacist in the form of a letter advised only back problems and stomach pain. In the long term I experienced general malaise, deep depression with fear of death. I had no energy any more and life seemed to be more of a challenge than an enjoyment. Then I got new boxes from a different factory and I saw on the leaflet that I basically had had all of the serious side effects. In the meantime I was prescribed sertraline which was effective really quickly and I found that quite strange. In the end I decided to buy Gaviscon and to leave the rabeprazole well alone. I quickly started to recuperate but even those few weeks of taking those pills have left me exhausted.
