I was prescribed Lyrica because of a general anxiety disorder. I found it to be a terrible medicine. It was like I was addicted to drugs; I felt like my head was full of cotton wool, I was constantly hot and my coordination was also really bad, I couldn't walk in a straight line and after that I got palpitations which then made me anxious again. Also really bad tinnitus and forgetfulness; I was struggling with even the easiest of words. I'm not taking them any more! Next week I've got a consultation with my psychiatrist going to ask something else.
