I've been taking metformine for around 2 years now and had many side effects. Periods of being tired and sleepy, but above all stomach and bowel problems. And really bad dry mouth overnight with searing sore throat. I've just had a blood test done to see what else it might be. Results next week. So I have to wait and hopefully I'll be able to stop taking this.
