I've always known that I didn't want to have kids and had problems with my menstrual cycle. Particularly mood swings and lack of energy. I felt like I was living normally for 2 weeks and then had to survive the next 2. This meant that my periods only let me live half a life. I've been on depo-provera for 15 years now. So it's like I've been given an extra 7 and a half years. I'm now 49 and I'm about to go off on my travels, possibly for ever. So I need to figure out how to do this with my GP. Do I have to stop? I don't think there's anything that competes with it.
