I started taking paroxetine for hot flushes, it's hardly known at all that this works as a drug to reduce menopausal hot flushes. I had the most awful hot flushes for 6 years and I didn't want to live any more, I even rolled around in the snow to cool down and in the summer I was truly evil. My GP said to try paroxetine and I've been taking it for 7 years and my hot flushes are less frequent and less severe. In 2013 I had stopped taking it and 6 months later the hot flushes reappeared in all their terror and glory. I am so happy that I can take this drug and there are no side effects for me.
