I have been diagnosed with Crohn... I got a hefty prednisone cure and got started with azathioprine. Initially started with 3x 50mg per day (no buildup but immediately BAM). followed by a liver and pancreatic inflammation. I always had to prick blood, medicine mirror and a slight outbuilding. In addition become bald. From here stopped and gone over at Lanvis. Become terribly ill. Not to describe nausea. I was on! Not taken seriously and was disembarked by the hospital with ' stomach flu '. It was no longer to keep and in the night to the general Practitioner Post and who advised to stop. Immediately stopped and suppositories for the nausea received. A day later I felt better. From here temporarily entocort gotten but that is a maintenance medicine. Switched to another hospital with a second opinion by another endoscopy. Once again started with Azathioprine. There we started building instead of immediately starting with 3x 50mg. First half etc. But unfortunately again a prednisone cure. At 3x 50mg I got complaints again, but because of the build-up instead of the high start, the complaints were quickly gone when we went off again. In that period, also by a time tanning bed use, I have had a lot of itching and even so bad that I was going crazy for days. When Allopurinol got there. This now suffices to take one day 1x 50mg and the other day 1/2 x 50mg together with a tablet allopurinol. This has been the invention for me. So I can say that azathioprine is an excellent tool, but it has taken a while to find the right balance. I'm happy! Did in the phase of azathioprine and allopurinol stomach upset and stomach tablets swallowed. Believe me, take original omeprazole and no cheap b brand (complaints took enormously instead)! Later looked at and thought and it was with me mainly tension complaints that caused stomach problems due to the extremely stressful period. Now I know where it comes from and I can accept it and post it. Not everywhere pills are needed, your mindset is half the work! As for that sun..... I can be against it again. Good lubrication of course, but that applies to every man! I notice extra good on my skin and eyes. In crazy situations I immediately go to the doctor's check. So be more alert... As for the fatigue: that's tricky. I work fulltime and that is heavy. Early on and early to bed. Acceptance is important.
