I had really bad muscle tension headaches on one side of my head. I was prescribed mirtazapine at the headache clinic. The pain hasn't completely disappeared but it's now bearable. The side effects are actually good for me. I'm sleeping well, put on a bit of weight and I don't have any trouble with the itching in my mouth when I eat fruit any more. Only negative is that I'm a bit drowsy in the evenings.
