I had a cerebral haemorrhage on 7 Feb 2013 as a result of long term hypertension. I was immediately started on Perindopril in the hospital. I've been using it now for around 3.5 years and I haven't really had any issues with any side effects whatsoever. Occasionally, at night, a dry cough for around 5 minutes, but I had that now and then beforehand anyway. I take this together with a water tablet (hydrochlorothyazide) and Nifedipine (another blood pressure tablet). I'm really happy to still be here, I feel well and exercise plenty.
