I got this medicine because I needed to have anti-inflammatories. It works really well for protecting my stomach but after one week I started to have diarrhoea, an irritating sound in my ears, dizziness, insomnia and stomach pain. Once I stopped taking it, these complaints disappeared in a few days, but when I started taking omeprazol again, it was the same story after a couple of days. What a mess! Omeprazol makes your stomach less acidic, but this means you get more bowel infections. So sensitive bowels and omeprazol is not a good mix!
