I didn't like using venlafaxine, or rather to me it was a disaster. My former psychiatrist prescribed it and when it didn't work I wasn't allowed to stop. I had a lot of side effects. Fatigue, nausea, weight gain, not being able to think clearly, dizziness, loss of appetite (although its possible this was caused by the reason I had to take the medicine in the first place), headache, apathy. And quitting was horrible for me as well. Still I'm very glad I did quit, because all side effects disappeared as well. The withdrawal symptoms, which were not very serious, took a long time to disappear.
