Four days ago I was run over and fractured my knee in several places. I already have a lot of experience with heavy painkillers as a rheumatic. I got a prescription for 2 x 600mg ibuprofen in combination with 4 x 1g Paracetamol, 40mg Pantoprazole and an added daily injection of Fraxiparine. Every time I take the ibuprofen I get palpitations and feel nauseous. I stopped taking the Paracetamol tablets as these made the side effects worse and couldn't fight the pain alone. The ibuprofen does kill the pain, but I do not find it very effective. I feel it affecting my adrenal gland and stomach. I'll have a check-up this week. Would only recommend this medicine as a last resort.
