Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can just stop taking paroxetine. GPs only read the patient information leaflets and have no understanding of it...my GP said I should just stop as the 10 mg wasn't working...well I think I would have preferred to jump in front of a train...it was hell... Out of pure desperation I started taking it again and it was like I was on fire, my teeth chattered when I lay down, constantly felt nauseous but still persevered. Got a new GP and luckily he referred me to a psychiatrist because he wasn't sure if they were withdrawal symptoms...I'm now going to try switching to fluoxetine... My work contract hasn't been renewed because of my absence and I have been in subsistence mode for months...You have been warned!!! Thx Marc
