Diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2013, with metastases on the bones, it was so serious that it was said I wouldn't make it to Christmas. Then I started on sutent which was amazing and I'm amazed now. After I had the affected kidney removed in 2016, a metastases was discovered on my liver. It now seemed that the sutent wasn't working quite so well for me so it was decided to start me on Votrient. After the first scan the metastases on my liver had shrunk so it seems that it's doing its thing. I've had virtually zero side effects apart from the fact that I'm a bit greyer, but that might just be my age anyway.
