Because of severe anaemia due to heavy blood loss the gynaecologist inserted a mirena. The insertion was sensitive but there weren't any other problems with it, no back or stomach pains. Then the side effects started; in the first week I had one migraine, throughout it I had a feeling of constant pressure on the back of my head and ears. Severe hair loss, loss of libido, feeling like my energy levels were stagnating, depressive feelings. There was a bit less bleeding which was good for my Hb. Because of the side effects though I am going to have this coil taken out at the end of the week and look for another solution. First thing is going to an osteopath to regulate my hormonal system. It's such a shame that there's so little knowledge of natural remedies and herbs in the conventional circle because there would be a lot fewer side effects.
