Arthrotec is diclofenac with a protective layer for stomach acid so that you don't have to take additional gastric protectors (omeprazole) with it. A few years ago I used it off and on but now I take one every day. This is because of a vertebral fracture caused by an exacerbated case of arthrosis. I try not to take it any more because it is supposed to have side effects. But it does help me get through the day.
