After two and half years of taking Tamoxifen, during which the entire time I had really bad muscle pains, the switch to Anastrozol has gone off without a hitch. The only noticeable side effect is pain in my hands and feet. I've been on it for nine months and I get the feeling that the pain is increasing slightly. Annoying, but I can live with it. The second (annual) dexascan for bone density showed that I had developed osteoporosis. To counteract that, I take calcium tablets and pay attention to my diet.
