After the Whipple operation in January this year I was given creon 300 mg capsules to help with digestion. From the start the capsules did little or nothing. Problems with persistent diarrhoea after every meal. My meals became associated with worry! The amount of fat in my stools is still too high. Following some advice, I increased the number of capsules before each meal time, first to 2 and slowly up to 8 straight before each meal. It's said that there is no alternative medicine. Can anyone help me here? Are there actually other medicines available?
